The experience

In this route with driver From Granada or Guadix

Route in 4x4 with a driver guide around gorafe desert, where we invite you to know and live through the incredible desert landscapes of Guadix's Altiplane. Our route begins in the Valley of the Zalabí, with its innumerable sandy ravines close to the skirt of the Nature reserve of Sierra Nevada, to ascend to the  north course to the zone of the forest of oaks that surrounds the small Gor village, door of entry of the Nature reserve of Sierra de Baza and from there entering the almost lunar landscapes of the Altiplane, up to coming to the cradle of Gorafe's megalithic accessions.  We will continue  through an scenic  area with a   big desert  that surround it, where a sinuous  and amazing way  will get us directly to the village.

We continue our adventure to come to the rural route that introduces us in the incredible zone of the Bad-Lands, authentic arid desert, where to every step that we give, the landscape becomes more spectacular, with big gully erosions and sandy formations of different colors, shaping a spectacular desert set that resembles the places of movies and African documentaries.

We will enjoy of spectacular views of 360 degrees the five mountains chains that surround the Altiplane, large proportion of the year covers of snow, giving place impressively contrast with the desert landscape, in one of the places with the major silence and luminosity of the whole Europe, which invites fully to the disconnection, the easing, the enjoyment and to the sensation of forming a part of this great place.

The activity

The route is always done in a 4x4 vehicle with a professional guide of our organization.

Meeting of the clients in the hotel, small technical breafing about the development of the activity and some aspects about the driving of these cars. We will have approximately 30 minutes by road until we reach the track. On the way we will make several panoramic stops to contemplate the surroundings and the variation of landscapes and be able to attend to the indications of our guide.
